What is a Dara Mat?
A Dara Mat is a premium wellness mat designed in Conamara, Ireland. Combining original Irish artwork with high-quality materials, Dara Mats are suitable for yoga, Pilates, meditation, breathwork, stretching and everyday wellbeing. Supporting your wellbeing practice, whatever that might be!
Are the mats non-slip?
The natural tree rubber base helps keep the mat securely in place. The microsuede surface is designed to provide grip during practice and often improves with use.
For a grippier feel, lightly dampening your hands or the mat before practice can enhance grip.
What are Dara Mats made from?
Dara Mats feature a soft microsuede surface and a natural tree rubber base. This combination provides comfort, durability and a luxurious feel while supporting your practice.
How do I clean my Dara Mat?
For everyday cleaning, wipe your mat with a damp cloth and allow it to air dry.
For a deeper clean, Dara Mats can be machine washed. Use no detergent with washing machine. A normal or quick wash setting is fine. Extra spin is recommended. Hang to dry.
Do not tumble dry.
What size are Dara Mats?
Our mats are larger than many standard yoga mats, providing extra space and comfort during your practice.

Will the artwork fade?
With proper care, the artwork is designed to remain vibrant and beautiful for years of regular use.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when not in use.
Why is the underside of the mat tea-coloured rather than black?

Do you create custom mats?
We chose a natural tea-coloured rubber base to complement the artwork and maintain a softer, more natural aesthetic.
It also means that no dyes or toxins are added to the rubber to keep it toxic free and as natural as possible. Tea coloured rubber is more expensive than black rubber as it is not as common, but Dara Mats will not compromise on keeping our products toxic free.
Dara Mats ship internationally. Shipping costs are calculated at check out. All our mats are sent once a week on a Wednesday so please order by 8pm Tuesday to guarantee it to be sent that week.
We use An Post for domestic delivery and UPS for international posting.
Customers receive tracking information when their order is being prepared.
We can offer bespoke mat designs for selected corporate, hospitality, sports and wellness partnerships.
We have a minimum order quantity and design processes in place.

Returns Policy
At Dara Mats, we want you to be delighted with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may return your item within 14 days of receiving your order, subject to the conditions outlined below.

Proof of purchase may be required.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns for products that have been used, damaged after delivery, or returned outside of the 14-day return period unless the item is faulty.

Returning Your Item
A return shipping label will be provided to you by email. Please securely package the item and attach the label as instructed.
Returns are processed through our courier company to ensure a simple and efficient returns experience.

Refunds
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
If approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Please allow 5–10 working days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs where possible.
We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, including arranging a replacement or refund where appropriate.
